Notifications for Community Council Meetings by email

Community Council meetings take place on the second Tuesday of every second month but, more and more additional meetings are having to be called to discuss issues such as planning applications that need to be dealt with before the regular meeting, or to deal with special issues such as the draft Argyll and Bute Local Plan, and so on. Inevitably, these meetings sometimes have to be called at relatively short notice and the only means of notifying people, at present, is by way of noticeboards and word of mouth. We therefore propose to compile a list of e-mail addresses of anyone wishing to receive Community Council information by e-mail. If you would like to be kept up-to-date by this means, please visit the subscription page. This system of registration has been devised in order to ensure that the registration is bona fide and also to avoid all registered e-mail addresses being added to everyone’s address book which would increase the dangers of you receiving more spam and of the spread of viruses. Those of you who gave your e-mail addresses for registration at the Community Council meeting need not register again.”
